A few words from the label:
I’ve been quite lucky with the demo submissions so far, and here is a great example of this. Based all the way in Canada, this Camp of Wolves album is a versatile little package of short and straight to the point tracks.

From the bright tonality of the first couple of tracks, we slowly drift into a deeper and fuzzier mode until the end of Side A. Flipping the tape over brings my personal favourite, Stone Smile Daughter. Unashamedly lo-fi and gently wonky, it just has the type of character that somehow feels like it’ll sound great on tape. This also sets the tone for the second half of the album, perfectly joining the brightness of the initial tracks with the sort of organic distortion of the second part.
